One of my favorite things to do at the Grand National Roadster Show is to hang out after the sun sets to get some fun photos around the event.

Saturday and Sunday is the Grand Cruise-In at the Grand National Roadster Show.

One of my favorite buildings at the Grand National Roadster Show each year is the Suede Palace.

The buildings at the Fairplex in Pomona, California are always filled with so much automotive goodness for the Grand National Roadster Show.

Each year the Grand National Roadster Show has a theme building. This year it was trucks and vans.

Just a little over a week ago this fantastic hot rod made its debut at the Grand National Roadster Show. This car was definitely the talk of the show as well as on social media.

So typically every year Rodshows has a press conference on Friday before the Grand National Roadster Show begins.

Started in 1974 by Al Slonaker the founder of the Grand National Roadster Show, the Al Slonaker Memorial Award is awarded ever year for the non-roadster hot rods. Each year the caliber of cars is excellent and this year was no different.

This year’s winner of the AMBR award was "The Champ Deuce,” Jack Chisenhall's owner-built 1932 Ford Roadster.

Great weather, awesome cars, drag racing and a whole lot of friends. What a fantastic Mooneyes New Year’s Party for 2023.

My annual tradition continues. Every year on the 1st Saturday of the year I head over to Huntington Beach to the world famous Donut Derelicts.

Saturday I headed over to O’Neill Regional Park for the annual Aces Car Club Poker Run. I do so love a driving event like this one.

You never know when or where the next Customs Cruise is going to be but last week I got the message that the next one will Angelus Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles. So for a little Halloween fun I headed out Saturday afternoon to LA to check out the latest Customs Cruise.

Huffarama is always a blast. Put on by the Dead Sleds Club to honor Bo Huff the fantastic car customizer from Utah who was also part of the club.

It’s always a great day hangin’ with The Rattys at any event and it’s always a blast going to their annual Ratfest.

After a day of racing the racing continues. Once the eliminations are done and the trophies are handed out the fun begins.

Many a racer shows up for the chance to race their friends and to go down the track but that’s not the only reason. They are there to compete.

As a photographer I sometimes get to do and see some cool things. While at the RPM Nationals I get to start right at the startline and watch my friends and other racers stage, get right up on the startline and punch that throttle launching their cars down the track. It just such a blast being right on top of the action.

If you go down the track you’ve got to get back to the beginning and that means making your way down the return road.

Saturday at the RPM Nationals starts off the day with grudge racing and test and tune runs.
