Early Risers: Donut Derelicts 4-2-22
Saturday morning I headed down to Huntington Beach, CA for the world-famous Donut Derelicts. Rarely, rarely does it disappoint with all kinds of fantastic hot rods, customs and more. This was one of those fantastic ones.

With so many shows around Southern California it’s no surprise I miss a few here and there but somehow I missed this awesome show all the damn time. It’s one of those shows I see on social media or hear about it from friends after the fact. But not this year!

Saturday I headed over to El Segundo, CA to the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum for the Women N Wheels Car Show. A wonderful show originally started by my friend Pati and held at El Camino College before it was moved to The Zimmerman.

The tradition continues. My 1st car event of the year and for the last few years is always Donut Derelicts. It's a great way to kick-off the year and a Saturday. It was a little lighter than I expected but there was still a great turnout for the weekly show.

Aces Car Club Poker Run
ll Regional Park for this year's Aces Car Club Poker Run. What a great time. There were close to 50 participants in the poker run and it was so cool to see all the hot rods run around picking up playing cards trying for the best hand.
Customs Cruise Downtown LA
Saturday night I headed out to LA to check out the newest Customs Cruise. The invite-only show is always fun. You just never know what is going to show up.
