Whenever I'm going down to the Huntington Beach area on a Saturday I always get up a little early and head down to the world-famous Donut Derelicts. This past Saturday's show was packed full of all kinds of automotive goodness.

Sunday I started my Easter off early with a drive up to Oxnard, CA to the Murphy Auto Museum for their bi-monthly (1st & 3rd Sunday of every month) Muscles & Mojo show.

My 4th stop on Saturday was the Bellflower Blvd Cruise. In the past, there has always been a Bellflower Blvd Car Show but with everything going on it has been canceled and the Bellflower Blvd Cruises have been going on.

My 3rd Stop on Saturday was at the Chihuahua Cerveza Taproom in Newport Beach to hang with The Rattys for the king rat's birthday, my friend Rusty. The Rattys are just one big family of Lincoln Continental loving nuts and I'm so thankful to be included in that family.

Saturday after checking out Donut Derelicts I headed over to Orange, CA to Cambra Speed Shop for their monthly Open House. I was just there for a short time as I had more events to checkout that day but it was a good turnout of cool hot rods.

So I'm not as crazy as some of the people that show up at like 5am for Donut Derelicts (more like 6:30) but I do try to get there a little early. As always the parking lot was packed with very cool cars and friends.

I do so love going to events at the Automobile Driving Museum and this one is always a great time. The Womens' Car Show was started by my friend Pati before it was taken over by the museum just a few years ago. Saturday's show was a whole lot of fun in El Segundo with so many wonderful cars and people.

For whatever reason, I have always missed the Caffeine and Classics events and it now makes me a little sad. If this one is any indication of events of the past man they put on an awesome event.

The first Customs Cruise was a blast. Hangin' in Van Nuys with friends and some very cool traditional hot rods and customs.

I got up early Sunday morning and headed up to Oxnard to the wonderfully fantastic Murphy Auto Museum for their monthly Muscles & Mojo. It was a great time at the show with very cool cars and a whole lot of friends. The show is expanding to 2 times a month and hopefully the museum will be opening soon. Keeping my fingers crossed.

After Donut Derelicts on Saturday, I headed over to Cambra Speed Shop for their Open House. It was a great time at their show. So many wonderful people and very cool cars (and vans) at the show.

I don't make it all the time to Donut Derelicts, I like to sleep in, but I got up early and headed to Huntington Beach to catch all the automotive goodness. The show delivers every single time with so much eye candy and wonderful people.

Such a wonderful time at the 4th Annual Get Down put on by the Lost Souls Car Club. It was a fantastic time filled with some very cool cars and trucks and it was always great seeing friends.

It's been a rough couple of weeks. Hell, it's been a rough 2020 and beginning of 2021. On Christmas day my friend, fellow car nut, and YouTuber Dano was at an illegal street race in Carson, CA when the 2 cars racing lost control, one going into the spectators. Dano was one of those spectators and was killed.

Sunday I headed up north to Oxnard, California to the wonderful Murphy Auto Museum for their monthly show Muscles & Mojo. It was a great time with such an eclectic mix of automotive contraptions. Muscles & Mojo is the first Sunday of every month at the Murphy and there is always a great turnout for the show and to support the museum.

The tradition continues with me going to the first Donut Derelicts of the New Year. Now Donut Derelicts is every Saturday and the summer months are always some of the best but even being cold and overcast the parking lot was still packed with wonderful classics and hot rods.

The second to last stop (and my last stop) of Ventura Nationals Reliability Run was at the Murphy Auto Museum. It's always a great time at the Murphy and it was a great stop for the Reliability Run.
